You Might As Well Laugh…

No matter how organized I tried to be, some days ended up chaotic,  filled with crying babies, sick kids, mud baths, snarky teens, funny faces, too many shoes,  inedible meals,  kid stunt men,  endless laundry and broken water pipes. I decided early in my mothering career that I might as well laugh and let all my cares roll off my shoulders because  living as a stressed, angry mum was simply too hard on me and everyone else.

  • “My dad used to tell me that laughter was like a cough or a sneeze – the body’s way of trying to expel something. But instead of some phlegm in your throat, or some dust up your nose, a laugh happened when something really true got into your brain. Something so true that your system just couldn’t stand it.”
