What I Wore To School Drop Off

What I Wore To School Drop Off

Lately, I have noticed many a blogger doing "What I Wore" series.  What I Wore Wednesday.  What I Wore To Church.  What I Wore on my glorious beach vacation that you didn't get to take.  Sucka!  (Ok.  I just made that one up.)  All of these women look beautiful, and put together, and not at all what I look like on a Monday morning.  So, I've been contemplating doing a "What I Wore To School Drop Off" series each Monday.

Today was the perfect day to start, as The Tot was up with vomiting and diarrhea all night and we were running a little late.  *Note:  I do not have to get out of the car to drop Big Kid off.
This isn't so bad, you might say.  However, upon closer inspection, you might notice that I was traveling sans shoes.  You might also notice, if you could zoom in on my pants, that my sweats still bear some of the evidence of the vomit fest with The Tot last night.
Also, if you zoomed in, you would notice the snot or birthday cake frosting or whatever that is on the shoulder of my sweater.  Some day, I will be able to wear clothing without getting shoulder stains.  And, as always, I don't leave for drop off without my trusty coffee cup.
What do you wear to drop your kids off at school?  Do you have to get out of the car?  Let me know what you think about this series.  Leave a comment and let me know either way:  1.  I don't care what you wear to your kid's school or 2.  Show us again next Monday!  I can't believe you leave the house like that!
Update:  This post was strangely popular on The Intentional Mom blog and we are going to keep this series around, but instead of featuring me, we are going to feature YOU!  You can find all of the details here: http://theintentionalmom.net/blog/2014/02/04/calling-all-morning-drop-off-moms
