Laurel Regan

Laurel Regan blogs about life as she lives it at Alphabet Salad - "an eclectic assortment of rants & ramblings."

Laurel is a writer, tangler, iPhoneographer, cat herder, learner of French and Italian, crocheter, needle felter, Growlita, iFan, on-and-off politics junkie, 80s music trivia freak, and ongoing work in progress who is rather taken with the phrase "professional dilettante" (courtesy Anne/Vintage Woman) as a substitute for "random and scattered."

She is originally from Victoria, BC but now lives in Windsor, Ontario (that's in Canada!) with her husband Peter and two gorgeous, fluffy tuxedo cats named Felix and Oscar.

Tangled Tuesday No. 12

This has been a rather fun week of tangling, due in part to a last-minute pre-BlogHer '14 creative project that was sparked by a link (along with a not-so-subtle suggestion!) sent my way by a friend and taken on by yours truly. I can't share it with you just yet, as I'm not quite finished... ...more

On living the Golden Rule

Several years ago while reading The Mindful Woman, a thoughtful book written by Sue Patton Thoele, I came across a meditation on the Golden Rule that both struck and stayed with me. The following is an excerpt from that book. ...more
