Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Words simply cannot express how deeply humbled and honored I am that all of you have been so generous in reading my blog posts. This is the first time that I've ever gotten up to a thousand reads! And now thanks to all of you, my recent two posts have received over 5,000 reads! And I could not be more thrilled with love shown to me and my blog page, here on Blogher!

The first post that I wrote was about The Arsenio Hall Show cancellation. And then,  I wrote about Victoria's Victories. Victoria was one, that I really, really felt passionate about. Because it was a story that touched me. This beautiful little being treated so unfairly and how justice needs to happen. How this beautiful little angel, deserves more people praying for her and making her feel good about herself. And I am so happy that you all agreed with me. She is a sweet young girl and she deserves the best. So, I want her to have the best.

The fact, that you all have helped me reach a milestone in blogging, will never be forgotten. Thank you all so much, for showing your love and your matched passion for what I'm passionate about.

God bless all of you. And God bless Blogher!!!

BlogHer '10 Recap: You Are Powerful

I went into BlogHer '10 thinking about the recap I'd write AFTER it was all over, which sounds weird, doesn't it? It's true, though. I've been to five BlogHer Cons (plus BlogHer Food '09) and I work here, too. I know the scene. We come. We connect. We laugh. We cry. We learn. We get angry. We wear great shoes. We're overwhelmed. That stuff -- it's the same every year. This year, going into the conference, I was really tired before I ever landed in NYC.   Read more >

OMG! I'm Going to Be a Grandmother and I Hate Gender Marketing

When I hijacked TW and told her we were going to Toys R Us for inspiration for my blog post about all of the baby gear parents have nowadays, she heckled. Inspiration at the toy store? Impossible. We'd just be frustrated and grouchy! Which is generally true, but I was prepared for all of the things that generally bug me about toy stores.   Read more >

OMG! I'm Going to Be a Grandmother! Wait. What Does a Grandmother DO?

My son-in-law was released from the boat and came home to put the crib and dresser changing table combo thingy together. There's been a virtual baby shower and an in-real-life baby shower. Jenn is starting to complain a little bit because 36 weeks feels a whole lot more pregnant than 35 weeks. I'll be in Hawaii in a few weeks and Johnny Mac Pippin will be here soon and I'm back to saying, "OMG I'm Going to Be a Grandmother!" again. It's also started to hit me that I don't exactly know what that means.   Read more >
