Pear-Pumpkin Smoothie for Baby
Given my adoration of pumpkin, it was only a matter of time before I introduced the nutrient-packed squash to Lily. Now, not even I – a self-professed pumpkin fiend – particularly like the taste of plain pumpkin puree, and I was pretty sure Lily wouldn’t either; so I combined it with a ripe juicy pear and rich creamy yogurt for this smoothie. Pears are her current favorite food, which is great because not only are they in season, but they also keep babies’ digestive systems moving regularly… and sometimes they need a little help in that department when they are starting on solids. . . .
