Stitch up an Adorable Elephant Doorstop

[Editor's Note: What do you do when you make a doorstop too cute to put on the floor? Well if you are Sarah Tucker from Create Studio you put it up on the shelf. I'm with Sarah this fuzzy little felt cutie is much to cute to prop a door open. In fact she is so cute I think she needs a friend and then they could become bookends. The best part about this project is that it is all hand sewing. AKA anyone can make this! - Jen]

How to Make An Elephant Doorstop (that's too cute for the floor!)

I love it when I make a project that happily turns into something unexpected and different than it's original concept: "The plan for this sweet thing was to have her hold my little girl Laney's door open, but the thought of kicking it out of the way every time I wanted to close the door made me change my mind... Miss. Elephant is now safely perched on top of Shel Silverstein on the bookshelf and far away from our feet. Are you relieved? I am.”
