Seeking sympathy over negative impacts of Government Shutdown - Poor Interviewee!
Leave it to the people of Jacksonville to continue to make this place look worse. Well, at least this gave me a good chuckle. Good attempt at trying to make people feel bad that government shutdowns are affecting people, poor choice in interviewee ...
The one person they interviewed admits that she doesn't work and doesn't know what she'll do if they have to shut down Early Head Start because her daughter won't have day care if she were to decide to work.
So, as if it's not bad enough this woman doesn't work, but it's a decision she's apparently made and expects the government to pay for services she doesn't really need?
I am in the midst of writing an article on how not to raise entitled children ... It's obviously too late for this woman.
I'm sorry for those who truly need support for reasons beyond their control. However, if you're making the decision to simply live off of the hardworking tax payers because the government is too stupid to maintain control, i don't feel bad for you. I do feel bad for your children and hope this is a lesson to everyone that we're responsible for our lives and the lives we bring into this world ... it's not up to anyone but ourselves to provide for them.
Finally, to the woman in this video: go get a damned job and earn some money to support your kid. I hate to think of the many other things you're likely doing to leach off the government while your kid is in government funded care for no reason. Since you are choosing not to work to take care of your child, maybe the better solution to the problem is to put your child up for adoption. A family that WANTS someone to take care of a child would be very happy, and it's one less child other hard working tax payers are having to pay for unnecessarily.
