Oi!! I´m Zanna, I´m an expat living in the Brazilian countryside with my Brazilian hubby and chow-chow puppy. I blog about culinary adventures and cultural clashes: the saga of a globalized career-oriented gringa becoming a Brazilian housewife. Lots of Brazilian food, as well as international and American flavours that I´ve fallen in love with.
Anything but typically 1950s housewifey, I spent my first 2ish decades running away from housewifedom. In fact, I lived in 4 countries before I turned 20 and speak 3 languages fluently, with a handful of semi-fluent-kinda-sorta languages, have three degrees, graduated from law school in the UK, and often still dream of being the first female secretary general of the UN or giving a certain American political party a run for its money in 2016. thankfully, I appear to have come full circle and am now blissfully surrounded by green parrots, pink flowery trees, blue skies, and brazilians... everywhere. And so, the housewife saga begins, and who would guess? I love it.
