From Bare Bones to Stylish Workstation: My Office Reveal

From Bare Bones to Stylish Workstation: My Office Reveal

work space

I think I promised you back in June or July of last year, after we moved into our new home, that I would be decorating my new studio space and planned to post pics for you. Well life, school, being a mom, painting bedrooms -- basically putting the right priorities first -- bumped this project down a ways. In fact, I just did it in February. I used gift cards I received for Christmas and planned and designed my new office!

Here are my very rough plans:

Don't look too long your eyes will start burning...

And here is the almost finished project:

new studio

I say almost because you have to help me pick things to put on my magnetic chalkboard. That's right! That whole wall behind my computer is magnetic chalkboard!!! I am so excited about this! I can't wait to share the tutorial with you on how cheap and easy it is to make it!

(I need more tea!)

I am so excited to have this large space to work, create, draw a little better, dream, write, inspire, and help the kids with their homework ;)

Any ideas for things to go on my magnetic chalkboard? I did draw a few in that awful sketch, but i would love to hear your ideas! OH, and I can't decide. Is it:

  1. An office?
  2. A studio?
  3. A workspace?

Help!
xoxo,
krystina
