If you are anything like me, I have to really think about the purchases I make when it comes to clothing. I love fashion but I am also practical when it comes to how much wear I will get out of what I am buying. I love the holiday evening dresses just as much as anyone, but the truth is, I will wear it once maybe twice a year at most. I just don't have those types of occasions that often. So dropping 100+ dollars with a pair of shoes and clutch and accessories to go with it, makes me cringe. That's why I'm all about separates! And I can be honest, I love dresses, but when it's cold I also want to know what sexy pants I can wear to pull off the same high end look to attend a fun holiday outing or function.

I have put together some of my favorite items out there for practical fashionistas, who want to sparkle and shine, do it on a dime, feel like a hot mamma, and be able to get more wear out of your new purchases throughout the year!

You can easily find something similar to these looks at any store, think of this as a guide really to what you could do for the holidays with separates! There are so many choices.
