Who am I? Well that's a tough question with a complex answer! My name is Jen, and I am married to the most amazing man, James (aka Jim); and we created two beautiful, extraordinary twin girls, Kaylynn and Lilly, who are currently 2.5 years old.
I'm not only a mother and wife, but a writer at heart. I love to write! I love crafting, reading, cooking and baking, decorating, fishing and hunting, working out, lounging, shopping, dancing, saving money, God, and so much more! I'm the type of person who tries to live without regrets and am usually willing to try almost anything at least once. I have hopes to become a better mother, wife, friend, and just to start accepting who I am and embracing it.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I have four brothers (well three, but I include my brother-in-law because I love him the same.. and pick on him the same too..), a mom, dad, step dad and step brother, my Grams, in-laws who I sincerely think are the best ever, three sister-in-laws, four nieces, and two nephews. Phew! That's a lot! ;) They are truly my world and I wouldn't change any of them for anything. They are who they are supposed to be and they've all contributed in helping me become who I am today. (Bottom of this page shows pictures of almost everyone...)
So why did I start a blog? Well... it's something that I placed on my bucket list after having our girls, and recently just decided to do it. I am not a perfect mother or wife (let's keep it real, no one is perfect - although we can always wish..). I was placed on bed rest the last trimester of my pregnancy; 30 days before my work closed its doors in December 2010. My husband was then laid off from work due to the winter (concrete construction), and then the girl's decided to make their appearance at the end of January 2011 (1 month ahead of schedule). Not only were we trying to adjust from no kids to two kids, but then we were slapped with the reality of a slippery slope of financial difficulties....
