When I unexpectedly got pregnant, it shook my world. I was a single, independent woman whose immediate plans didn't include a baby. Once the reality set in, there was no doubt, that I wanted my baby....and so began my path of discovering I didn't know what I didn't know. I had no idea about pregnancy, basic baby necessities, or a million other things pertaining to having a child.
As the Live Your Greatest Life coach and author, I'm an expert in living the life you want. When it comes to being pregnant or motherhood, I knew I had a whole lot to learn. I knew that if I did, there are plenty of other moms (and moms to be) who at one time or another felt clueless.
So I discovered the questions to ask and found my way to the answers. Yes, I had several people laugh at my not knowing (even what they thought would be common sense), but I was okay with it. How was I going to find out unless I asked?
That's why I started A Clueless Mom. I was absolutely clueless with a capital "C." I mean, it had been 25 years since I had even babysat and changed a diaper. No matter how much you think you know about parenting, there will come a time whether your child is an infant or a teen that you will feel clueless. And it's perfectly normal.
A Clueless Mom will be your shoulder to lean on, a friend to confide in, and a community to support you. It is there for you when you need us, because you can't and shouldn't do it by yourself. Yes, we have been there. We share our lessons, experiences, and stories to let you know you are not alone. It may not be pretty, but we'll have a ton of laughs. Isn't that what life is about? Having a good time...one where you think, "Now that is great!"
Join our community, because we are for you and about you...so sit back, relax, and enjoy navigating through this crazy, whirlwind, joyous journey of motherhood. I look forward to hearing from you!
