Marathon Training: Weekly Workout Recap
This was a tough week for me. I was exhausted all week and struggled through all of my runs. I attempted to do a long run on Saturday and stopped after 6 miles. More to come about that in another post. Here are my runs for the week:
Tuesday: 9 miles easy @ 9:40 pace + stretched and foam rolled
Wednesday: Rest Day-foam rolled
Thursday: Another attempt at a tempo: 1 mile warm up, 8:18, 8:24, 8:27, 8:35, 8:36, 2 mile cool down + foam rolled. I was shooting for a 8:25 pace. I've been having trouble with this run for weeks.
Friday: My legs were dead on Friday. Ran 5 miles @ 10:09 pace (this felt hard) + foam rolled + abs
Saturday: 6 miles @ 10:26 pace and this was tough!
Sunday: Foam rolled and stretched and had Mike massage my legs.
