Sometimes when you have too much to say, it's better to be quiet. With your thoughts are going 100 miles a minute, it may be wise to take a moment to clarify what you are trying to say. There are times when you talk so much that you say things you don't mean. If talking helps you to make sense of your thoughts, don't be surprised if others have problems understanding or are hurt by what you are saying. Learning the art of being quiet takes time and patience. For some, it may be difficult because they think that others need to know how they feel. You'd be surprised at how many of your family members and friends would appreciate it, if you think before you speak. Be mindful when sharing your thoughts for they are truly valued when they come from a place of compassion, respect, and thoughtfulness.
Things look different when looking at something from another person's perspective...
(Walking around Seattle by myself is actually very rejuvenating. I don't have anyone to talk to except when I experience something so interesting that I need to call someone to share. Being alone helps me to hear my spirit again. When I get to busy with life, I sometimes get hard of hearing. My spirit is making up for lost time.)
