Grocery Shopping with a Toddler + Dinner Menu

Grocery Shopping with a Toddler + Dinner Menu

Why does the weekend go by entirely way too fast!?

It's probably a good thing tomorrow is Monday, because we've eaten our way through the weekend.

Saturday we took a family trip to the grocery store, this is becoming our thing. We loaded up the diaper bag with "cock-keys" (yep, that's how Sof's pronounces cookies), fruit snacks and Pirates Booty. Mike is the official cart pusher & entertainer while I rush around Supermarket Sweep style, grabbing and tossing groceries as quickly as I can, because Sofia is a ticking time bomb. Can you Mama's relate?

Insiders tip, the freebie deli meat can easily buy you 5 minutes.

Anyways, by the end of the trip Mike & I are were desperate for Starbucks. There's one in the store but by the time we checked out Sofia was ready to freak, so we drove 5 minutes down the road to the drive-through Starbucks. This trip Sofia got her very 1st cake-pop, she put it in her mouth and didn't remove it until the stick came out clean. Impressive, she has her Dada's sweet tooth!

We junked out all weekend.

Breakfast burritos.

Heart-shaped donuts.

Broccoli & Cheddar soup.

And a Red Lobster picnic lunch while Sofia napped, Mike's request. Genius!

We made it out for a walk, hopefully it melted off the donuts. And lately, Sofia has to "walk" Vinny, she gets real pissed when he runs and yanks the leash out of her hands.

Here's what we have cooking this week.

Hope you had a great weekend!
