Five Fall Fashion Trends
I've scoured the internet for the hottest fall trends and I've got five key things to freshen up your look for Fall 2012.
#1. The bootie.
Available everywhere, in every price range - keep your boots low this season. If you're concerned about how to wear them, don't be. Little boots go with skirts and dresses as well as teaming well with jeans and pants.
#2 The suit.
The jacket of this suit has moto-detailing and is very on-trend.
Short jacket. Untucked blouse.
The great thing about a suit is: it never goes out of style. You'll look polished and can dress it up or down. Suits are investments but can be manipulated. Pair any of these three jackets with any of the pants or skirts and they still work.
Handbags/pocketbooks/totes, have become the number one fashion accessory.
Sure, everyone is mad for shoes and boots but the world of bags has become super serious.
And they can be as detailed or pared down as you desire.
Any one of these would make a fine addition to your collection.
4. The scarf print.
Flattering to all figures, the scarf print screams of luxury but can be affordable.
Throw this last one on with your suit!
Scarf prints are very of-the-moment and can lend an elegant air (as scarves do).
5. Okay, this is not, technically speaking, a fashion trend - it's more of a lifestyle trend that I feel I should endorse:
Bistro-style coffee at home (or at the office for that matter!). The Nespresso Pixie brings barista coffee to your world without you leaving the premises. I cannot say it is "pennies a cup" but it is less than coffee from the shop where you buy your steaming latte. Take my word for it, I've tried dozens of coffee machines over the years and this one has changed my life.
So, suit up, pull on your booties and have a cup of joe.
