The First BlogHer Post

The First BlogHer Post

While I'm new to BlogHer, I am most definitely not new to blogging. I began my blog in 2011 as a means to express myself after completing graduate school.

This is not a real post. This is simply a 'Hi! Nice to meet you!' post to get myself acquainted with the BlogHer blogging capabilites and community.

For the most part, the posts here will be filtered over from my hosted blog. But only my best (read: favorite) content will be filtered over.  Sometimes I'll even post something just for here. But not often, since I barely find the time to maintain 'A Glimpse Into Eryn's World' (but it's getting more frequent). I tend to go through phases with blogging, much like a child goes through phases with certain toys. In a way, I do that with all social media.

My blog is simply a place where I go to express my thoughts, feelings, and anything else that comes to mind. Sometimes my posts are random and not well-thought out. Other times, I have such horrible writer's block that I'm not sure what to write, and it ends up just being a photo or a survey.  Then occasionally, I will be affected by something so deep, that the only way I know how to cope, is by writing.

This blog will be a collection of the posts that I feel are worthy  of being in this kind of forum. I'm being honest when I say, much of work is probably not worth reading.

Horrible to say right? It's true. Half the time, I don't have anything of importance to say. But I don't care, because it's my little space on the web. If you choose to read it, wonderful. If you don't, it's okay because I wrote it when I felt inspired. I just needed to get it on paper... actually, I guess it's more like in the word processor now.

Having said all of the above, 'Hello!' and I look forward to being a teeny little piece of this amazing website known as BlogHer.
