Haylie says that this book is for "last time dieters, not first time dieters". I do have to say that I hate the way the modern world uses the word diet. Diet just means what you eat. It could be anything. It should not be associated with deprivation or loathing. But anyway, she's just using it the way the rest of the Negative Nellies do (Note to Nellie: I'm sorry, I didn't come up with this expression!).
