Count Us, Know Us, Join Us at BlogHer '14

Did you know that despite breast cancer being one of the most visible and supported diseases in the world, a recent global survey of 1,273 women living with advanced breast cancer showed that nearly two-thirds (63%) of women said they "often feel like no one understands what they are going through" and two in five women said they "feel isolated from the non-advanced breast cancer community."

During the Count Us, Know Us, Join Us panel event, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from a healthcare professional on how early and advanced stages of breast cancer differ
  • Hear firsthand from a patient about her unique journey living with advanced breast cancer
  • Learn from leaders in patient advocacy about resources available for women diagnosed with advanced breast cancer, their supporters and the public
