  Get a sneak peek at Season 4 of this exciting hit show from FOX - and pick up a goodie or two for you!

Hit culinary competition series MASTERCHEF JUNIOR gives talented kids between the ages of 8 and 13 the chance to showcase their culinary abilities and passion for food through a series of delicious challenges until one talented kid is named America’s newest MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, taking home the MASTERCHEF JUNIOR trophy and $100,000 grand prize.

Host and award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay is joined by acclaimed chef Graham Elliot and renowned pastry chef Christina Tosi on the MASTERCHEF JUNIOR judging panel. Together, the celebrated food experts coach and encourage the promising hopefuls to cook like pros and teach them the tricks of the trade along the way.

Saturday, NOVEMBER 7th – Brought to you by Elanco and the Enough Movement 

Did you know that our population is set to surpass 9 billion people by 2050?

Join Elanco and Laura Daniels, a wife, mother and Wisconsin dairy farmer as she shares her family’s journey to their own family farm that includes 300 Jersey cows and 650 acres of crop and pasture land!

You will learn how dairy farmers have a tradition of continuous improvement and how innovative farm practices not only provide the best animal care, but also ensure we can provide enough food for our growing population.

And because dairy farmers cannot bring an actual dairy farm to downtown Chicago - Laura will be moderating a Q&A session with dairy farmers - FROM THE FARM - via video streaming.

Here is the process:

  • On Tuesday, October 27 at 6PM PT (9PM ET) we will open up HALF the slots for the events below. Those slots will remain open until filled.
  • On Wednesday, October 28 at 8AM PT (10AM ET) we will open up the other HALF of the slots for the events below. Those slots, too, will remain open until filled.

Today we are announcing the process to RSVP for our #BlogHerFood15: Experts Among Us sponsored special events.

What are sponsored special events?  These are smaller, more intimate events that take place at #BlogHerFood15: Experts Among Us that allow sponsors to connect with attendees to talk about product launches, new services, social issues, or just plain informally network and have fun.

 

 

At #BlogHerFood15 every sponsored special event has room for open RSVPs, but space is limited so it is a first come, first served process - with a twist.

Like we did for #BlogHer15, we are opening our special events in phases and on different days - a morning phase and an evening phase so if you aren't at your computer when the events opens in the morning,  you will still have a chance to put your name in the hat to be included in the evening.  

It seems a little complicated, but we are continuously trying to improve our process to be fair and equitable for as many attendees as we possibly can be!

Here is how it will go live:

  • On Monday, October 19 at 7AM PT (10AM ET) we will open up HALF the slots for the events below. Those slots will remain open until filled.
  • On Tuesday, October 20 at 6PM PT (9PM ET) we will open up the other HALF of the slots for the events below. Those slots, too, will remain open until filled.

We hope this will allow more people a shot at a slot, so to speak.

Please note: these events have limited capacity and will likely fill quickly.

Friday, NOVEMBER 6TH – BROUGHT TO YOU BY FOODINSIGHTS.ORG

Do you have a burning question about protein? Want to get the facts on some common myths, or learn new ways to incorporate protein into snacks and meals?

Please join us for this exciting cooking demonstration from Chef Andrew Zimmerman, executive chef at Michelin-starred Chicago restaurant Sepia, James Beard Foundation Award Nominee, and Iron Chef contestant.

Chef Zimmerman will create innovative and easy ways to cook with protein foods and will be serving samples with lunch.

We will also highlight IFIC Foundation research on consumer attitudes about protein with Dr. Jared Dickinson, a leading expert in protein for health and fitness.
