BlogHer Conferences Weekly Update - - November 16, 2012

Hi friends and happy weekend! We have some fun things to share with you so I'm jumping right in.

Thank you to all of you who submitted a request to volunteer at BlogHer Food '13 in Austin. We will get on this right away so you can make the proper plans for June 2013.

If you haven't already booked your hotel room for BlogHer Food, now is the time. We have secured a room rate of $199 per night, with in-room Internet included -- book today and save!

Speaking of booking hotel rooms, if you are joining us at BlogHer PRO, Friday, November 23 is the final day to secure your room. The room rate is $209 a night including in-room Internet -- book today and enjoy the lovely Fairmont San Francisco.

I may have stepped ahead of myself there, first you need to register for BlogHer PRO and then book your hotel room ;-). If you aren't quite sure what to expect, check out our agenda and impressive speaker line-up.

Hint: We'll be making another announcement next week related to BlogHer PRO so stay tuned.

And let us not forget the 25% discount for a BlogHer '13 full conference ticket (blogger rate) which is good until December 31! Register now and join us in Chicago! And you can also book your hotel room at our host hotel, the Sheraton Chicago.

BlogHer has a block of rooms available at the Sheraton Chicago at a discounted rate of $199 per night, including complementary in-room Internet. Book your room here.

Note: the $199 per night rate (single/double occupancy) is for a king room. If you need a room with two double beds, the rate is $209 per night (single or double occupancy).

On a purely fun note, did you see this Thursday's shoe shot? Well it turns out, our Thursday shoe meme is seeping into the digital marketing efforts of big name retailers. Read Miriam's post and get all the juicy details.

In closing, we would like to wish our US friends a healthy and Happy Thanksgiving -- we here on the Events team are thankful for our blogging friends!

Until next time...
