And The Preschool Mom Of The Month Tiara Goes To….

Originally Published on Pecked To Death By Chickens

Like many of you, I’ve entered plenty of giveaways online before, that used Rafflecopter and the like. What I was NOT familiar with, until recently, was how to administer one of those giveaways. This week I actually have 2 giveaways running on other sites, so I was forced to figure it out.

I learned a ton of stuff in my efforts to keep my giveaways on the up and up, because there are tons of rules out there. Apparently Facebook is banning the use of ‘like gates’ effective in November. A ‘like gate’ is basically when I give you contest entries for liking a Facebook Page. Forced Facebook sharing is also enough to land you in social media jail, where inmates earn conjugal ‘likes’ for good behavior. (I was going to insert a ‘poke’ joke there, but I think I might be in the minority, having used the Facebook ‘poke’ feature.)

In an effort to ‘poke’ some fun at my contest-mania this week, I’ve decided to share my thoughts via a phony back to school contest for moms of preschoolers since I will be one for the first time soon. Follow along and let me know what you think of my entries.

Disclaimer: This giveaway is not real and what you are seeing are screen shots of a contest that does NOT exist. It is only an attempt to release my pent up Giveaway and preschool nerves and potentially make someone chuckle. There is no actual prize. I repeat, No, Actual. Prize. I do not claim to be able to pilot a Rafflecopter or any of it’s contest counterparts. Here are all of the giveaway entries. Simple right?
