Shugary Sweets’ Aimee has transformed McDonald’s calorie-buster into a Skinny Shamrock Shake that’s made from frozen bananas, fat-free milk, peppermint extract and spinach. It’s not all healthy ingredients, though, she tops the shake with a bit of whipped cream and a handful of chocolate chips.

You didn’t think we would leave you without sharing some alcoholic versions of the almighty Shamrock Shake, would you? Heather from Sugar Dish Me says her Shamrock Schnapps Shake is stupid good, and we have to agree. She gussies up her vanilla shake with Baileys Irish Cream and peppermint schnapps, as well as a dash of green food coloring. Drink up, it’s St. Patrick’s Day after all!
Vegan, Dye-Free Shamrock Shake
The mint is fresh mint. The creaminess comes from coconut cream and milk. And the green color isn't food coloring, but a hint of healthy spinach (which you definitely won't taste). Laura at Petite Allergy Treats, who has two severely allergic kids, says of her Vegan, Dye-Free Shamrock Shake Copycat: "My kids will have different memories of growing up which won't include a real Shamrock Shake, but I'm OK with that. As long as they are happy and above all safe, I'm sure they'll still build happy memories."
