10 Favorite Sandals for Summer

10 Cute and Comfortable Summer Sandals

Warmer weather is here, and it’s time to set those toes free! For running around during hot months, I like a flat or low-heeled sandal. Sometimes the occasion calls for casual; other times, the sandal should be a bit dressier. So here, in no particular order, are my 10 favorite sandals for summer. Which one do you like best?

Coach Nillie sandal

The Nillie Sandal from Coach is so pretty, but a bit pricy at $278. However, Coach items are always so well made, I’m sure it’s worth every penny.

Target gladiator sandal

Here’s a cute option from Target. Their Lavinia Gladiator will only set you back $19.

Brooks Brothers sandal

The Brooks Brothers Braided Calfskin Sandal gives the traditional style a new “twist.” Several sporty colors are now on sale for $117.

Sofftspots sandal

The Sofftspots Strappy Sandal comes in five colors; it's perfect for travel or being on your feet for a long time. It's on Travelsmith for $69, in five colors.

Clarks Lexi sandal

Also found on the Travelsmith site is this sandal from Clarks. The Lexi Sumac Sandal looks very comfortable, but there’s a fine line between chunky and “hip” or chunky and “granny.” I’m still not sure about this one. Hmmm. What do you think? Hip or granny? Maybe a hip granny? Clark’s always makes a good shoe; at $85, they are also available in navy or brown. (Okay, I think I like them—it just took a minute).

Cole Haan Ally sandal

The Ally Sandal from Cole Haan is a bit skimpy on support, but pretty hefty on cuteness. $128.

Coach Reena sandal

If you wear this Reena sandal by Coach, I guarantee you people will stop to ask where you got it. So cute, with three different color combinations, it is $118.

Mudd sandal

This Mudd sandal was on the Kohl’s web site and available for $44.99, but currently on sale for $30.99. What a deal on cuteness!

Dolce Vita sandal

The go-to place for shopping along the Gulf Coast is Dillard’s, which stepped in to fill the void our late-great-beloved Gayfer’s (moment of silence). Dillard’s has a huge shoe department, and this Dolce Vita sandal is priced at $59 and available in five colors.

Clark's Wendy River Sandal

Last but not least, also found at Dillard’s is Clark’s Wendy River Sandal. Once again, Clark’s is in for comfort. This sandal has a slightly dressier look, and would be adorable with a skirt or a breezy little sundress. At $69, it’s a great deal and a winner!
